This is a private reference site, not a Comal County office. We cannot confirm whether someone is in custody, release an inmate, post bond, schedule a visit, or pull an official booking record. Use the official office or locator that controls the record.

Use the list below to choose the right search path before calling or filing a request.
- For someone who may be in the county jail, use jail inmate records and the jail phone line.
- For booking photos, use jail roster mugshots and the written jail open-records process if the portal does not show the image.
- For charges filed after arrest, use court records after a jail arrest and the court or prosecutor office tied to the case.
- For facility address, phone, and visitation context, use the Comal County Jail page.
- For sentenced Texas state prisoners, use the TDCJ inmate search.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP inmate locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator System. VINELink is also available for custody notifications where Texas data is included. No official Comal County Sheriff's Office inmate-search mobile app was located in the research.
